Weekend, weekend, weekend

workout :: nothing. we ‘celebrated’ my husband’s birthday today so I lazed around.  Also, I’m catching his cold. ARGH.

I am displeased to announce that I am not sore, or even tight, from yesterday’s workout. Almost makes me wish I would have done each segment twice, but now I know. My legs, however, are still sore from Fridays’ workout – that’s just bananas.

started the morning with crepes. this mini one was for the mini me.

I’m a horrible wife. Today is my husband’s birthday and I planned absolutely nothing. He insists that he’s fine and that he doesn’t want to do anything, so if he’s going to twist my arm I have no reason but to fulfill his non-request… I offered to take him out for frozen yogurt and he still didn’t want to go out – I might have had ulterior motives but the man is seriously cramping my style. I’ll bake him cookies instead. Fair enough.

I had a huge craving for greens earlier and I darn near ate a huge bag of spinach on my own. I made a honey mustard vinaigrette for it, threw some mushrooms, raisins, slivered almonds, avocado and hard boiled egg in there and called it a day.

HUGE salad. Delicious.

The rest of the day we sat around and did house things; which included daddy and son watching soccer. K has also ran laps around the kitchen for 30 minutes – would it be wrong to put a pedometer on her?

Please ignore the horrid wires situation

I’m 6 weeks old today Smile

Would you put a pedometer on your kid(s)?

If you had to choose eating spinach or regular salad for the rest of your life what would you chose?

  1. Love that picture of Spud where it says he’s 6 weeks old. I love the expression on his face.

I say go ahead & put a pedometer on K. I think it would be fascinating to see how far they run/walk in a day.

I’d have to pick spinach. I love the taste of fresh spinach. It would definintely mix up the regular old salad. That salad you made looks absolutely divine too!

Happy bday to your husband! That’s awesome that you’re not feeling sore. I can’t believe he is 6 weeks old already!! Adorable. :)

I’m so hungry! would you come to my house to cook? LOL! — Nike should make a small devise to attach to a kid’s leg or arm to keep track of their activities. You’ll be surprise how many miles they run! — Kids are the best to keep moms and/or dads fit! — Love the “soccer” picture! ;-)
