Weekend, weekend, weekend

workout :: nothing. we ‘celebrated’ my husband’s birthday today so I lazed around.  Also, I’m catching his cold. ARGH.

I am displeased to announce that I am not sore, or even tight, from yesterday’s workout. Almost makes me wish I would have done each segment twice, but now I know. My legs, however, are still sore from Fridays’ workout – that’s just bananas.

crepe

started the morning with crepes. this mini one was for the mini me.

I’m a horrible wife. Today is my husband’s birthday and I planned absolutely nothing. He insists that he’s fine and that he doesn’t want to do anything, so if he’s going to twist my arm I have no reason but to fulfill his non-request… I offered to take him out for frozen yogurt and he still didn’t want to go out – I might have had ulterior motives but the man is seriously cramping my style. I’ll bake him cookies instead. Fair enough.

I had a huge craving for greens earlier and I darn near ate a huge bag of spinach on my own. I made a honey mustard vinaigrette for it, threw some mushrooms, raisins, slivered almonds, avocado and hard boiled egg in there and called it a day.

salad

HUGE salad. Delicious.

The rest of the day we sat around and did house things; which included daddy and son watching soccer. K has also ran laps around the kitchen for 30 minutes – would it be wrong to put a pedometer on her?

Please ignore the horrid wires situation

I’m 6 weeks old today Smile

Would you put a pedometer on your kid(s)?

If you had to choose eating spinach or regular salad for the rest of your life what would you chose?
